About us

Strong ideas need more than good intentions

I work at the intersection of research, implementation, and systems thinking - supporting organizations working with children, families, and communities to move from ideas and evidence into practical action.

My work focuses on helping organizations navigate complexity: translating information into decisions, strengthening collaboration across sectors, and supporting initiatives as they move from planning into delivery.

How I approach the work

In complex systems, challenges rarely exist in isolation. Research, policy, community organizations, and service systems often operate with different priorities, structures, and realities. Meaningful outcomes depend not only on good ideas, but on how those different pieces work together over time.

My work is grounded in:

  • structure without rigidity
  • clarity within complexity
  • accountability aligned with outcomes

Experience

My experience spans research, implementation, and cross-sector collaboration across academic, government, and community environments.

  • Implementation leadership for multi-year, cross-sector research initiatives at the University of New Brunswick
  • Coordination of $1M+ in grant-funded involving academic, government, and community partners
  • Development of a provincial child rights data monitoring initiative through the Muriel McQueen Fergusson Centre for Family Violence Research
  • International research experience with the Overseas Development Institute

The goal is not only to support implementation, but to help initiatives create meaningful and sustainable change.
